The Heart and Imagination of WeScanFilm began nearly 20 years ago working on a family friend’s heirloom collection. This Collection had documents from the Civil War and Earlier!!!
I knew right away what a special collection of history I was working with and the family friend had NO IDEA!!!
I felt a calling right there that I knew I could change how people store their Heirlooms ….

How We Do It

Preserving Memories. How? By carefully meeting each subject from where it is in its current state. Yes, we have scanned some old stuff and yes, we “White Glove” this stuff! When Heirlooms are checked in, we carefully itemize, and set naming requirements with gloves on. From there, each type is prepped from Imagin.

Why It Matters

Do this exercise for me: next time you have a social interaction with someone, whether that be a new friend, old friend, or family, do this for me. Track how often you share memories and experiences, then how often you reach for your Instagram and continue. Imagine a world where your family’s history can be a mouse clicks away, or on your mobile phone.
